Initial Oral Examination
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take a full set of x-rays, which includes the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of interproximal decay of posterior teeth.
Sedation Dentistry

Imagine drifting off into a serene blissful sleep while all of your needed dental work is done. Sleep dentistry is done right in the comfort of Dr. Daddio's office with a licensed, board certified anesthesiologist M.D., putting you in a sweet slumber, without having it done in a cold sterile hospital setting. It's so easy and can be done in as few as 2 appointments - imagine, you go to sleep and awaken with that dazzling, eye catching new smile you've always wanted. At Dr. Robert Daddio's office, sedation dentistry is one of the unique services we offer as part of our comprehensive services, to give you, our patients - the best dental care available in dentistry today.
Crowns and Veneers
You can have a new smile with all-porcelain crowns or veneers on the anterior teeth. For the posterior, we offer all porcelain inlays or onlays to maintain as much of the natural tooth structure as possible. For posterior teeth with large broken fillings we offer full coverage crowns which can be all porcelain, full gold or porcelain fused to metal.
Dental Implants (Traditional & MDI's)
We will work with an implant specialist to create a conventional implant for a missing single tooth, missing multiple teeth or replace a removable appliance. We also offer the MDI system which are miniature titanium alloy implants that acts like the root of your tooth and a retaining fixture that is incorportated into the base of your denture. The head of the implant is shaped like a ball, and the retaining fixture acts lke a socket with a rubber O-ring. The O-ring snaps over the ball when the denture is seated and holds the denture firmly in place. When seated, the dentue gently rests on the gum tissue. The implant fixtures allow for micro-mobility while withstanding natural lifting forces. These are placed within a 2 hour visit in our office with local anesthesia. Because of the minimally invasive nature of the procedure, the healing period for most patients is shorter than that of traditional implants - meaning dentures can be stabilized the same day the Mini Dental Implants are placed.
Teeth Bleaching
Our state-of-the-art, in-office "Zoom Advanced" Power Bleaching system will make your teeth whiter in less than 1 hour. Another option is our home bleaching system you take with you for results in approximately 2 weeks. You can also consider a combination program of both systems for optimal, long-term results.
Fillings: Resin
We offer the best Resin material for our tooth-colored fillings to match your natural tooth structure.
Root Canals
We perform root canals on all teeth; however in the event of complicated cases or traumatic injuries we may refer to a specialist to have your root canal treatment completed.
Neuromuscular Dentistry (TMJ Treatment)
Many individuals do not realize that muscles play an important role in dentistry. The science of Neuromuscular Dentistry evaluates and treats your overall oral health by considering how your muscles, teeth and joints work together. During a TMJ consultation, patients will be informed of how we can relieve their TMJ pain by using a Myomonitor (TENS machine) to help relax the muscles with gentle electrical stimulation to the neck and face to achieve a truly relaxed state. Dr. Daddio determines the jaw position that is associated with relaxed posturing muscles and holds your bite to that position using an Orthotic Splint.
Periodontal Treatment
You should have a standard cleaning at least 2 to 3 times a year. If it has been over a year since your last cleaning, treatment could include Periodontal Scaling & Root Planning (Deep Cleanings). This treatment would be completed in 2 visits by our Hygienist and then followed by regularly scheduled periodontal maintenance visits every 3 to 4 months.
"Life Like" Custom Fitted Dentures & Partials
Complete dentures were once the only choice for patients who were missing all of their teeth. Chewing efficiency and biting forces with complete dentures are one tenth of that possible with natural teeth. For financial and other reasons, some patients are unable to enjoy the advantages of the use of dental implants. However, the fit of the denture may be maximized by the use of a very accurate and impression procedure called a "functional impression" technique. With this procedure, the patient's musculature molds the shape of the impressions to allow for the best fit possible. New materials are available for use by the dentist to allow a very esthetic result (see above) When the teeth are lost, the bone of the jaw resorbs slowly over time and the dentures do not fit as well as when first made. A reline of existing dentures renews the fit. However, if the bite has changed, the only option would be to refabricate the dentures
